I began creating acrylic paintings after encountering the medium at art barTokyo. Rather than constructing through thought, I value painting as if scooping up fragments of emotions and memories sunk deep within the heart. My work is rooted in Japanese aesthetics, carefully layering delicate colors and valuing the breathing space of negative space. Rather than loudly asserting itself within a space, I aim for my work to be a presence that naturally blends into the landscape of daily life while still holding a distinct aura.
Modest yet holding strength within, they quietly touch each viewer’s memories and emotions. I aim for an enduring expression that deepens in impression over time, resonating in the heart during unexpected moments.
