About Gallery IoriNihonbashi
Ōdenmacho was once a hub where people and culture from across the nation converged.
In this neighborhood, where history still breathes, we are showcasing unglazed Yōhen Tenmoku tea bowls created by a pottery studio in Ibe, Okayama Prefecture, which was granted the imperial “Goryō Kaen” kiln.
These are one-of-a-kind works that can only be seen at Gallery An.
We also carry Bizen-yaki pieces from the same studio. All works are one-of-a-kind.
You are welcome to pick up each piece to admire it and, if you wish, make a purchase.
In addition to masterpieces like the Yōhen Tenmoku tea bowls from the Goryō Kaen Kiln, we also showcase and sell works by artists who, though unknown, possess true artistic power.
From this space, we will quietly stand by the journey of these “future master craftsmen” who excel in technique, spirit, and creativity.

Gallery Iori showcases and sells traditional and contemporary crafts, including unglazed yōhen tenmoku tea bowls.
We also spotlight works by emerging masters who are not yet widely known.
Each piece embodies the tangible power born from daily discipline and an inquiring spirit.
We invite visitors to engage with the works in our tranquil space, sensing the stories flowing beneath the surface and the breath of their creators.
Our bilingual art director, fluent in both Japanese and English, will thoughtfully convey the background and appeal of each piece to guests from around the world.

At Gearary-an, we welcome submissions not only from established artists but also from up-and-coming artists with great potential. <br>

● Works that demonstrate excellence in technique, spirit, and creativity
● No restrictions on materials or genres (ceramics, woodwork, metalwork, glass, lacquerware, painting, and other crafts in general)
● One-of-a-kind pieces or works produced in limited quantities
