Thai carving is said to have begun around 700 years ago during the Sukhothai period, originally as decoration for the king’s meals. I imagine it might have started when one of the queens wished the king would stay with her just a little longer… I find that quite romantic.

Story
“If you feel a warm moment in your heart...”
With that sentiment in mind, I create my works day after day.
Each piece has its own story. Some depict a mother gently watching over her child or speaking softly to them, others show friends playing happily together.
Nothing would make me happier than for you to weave infinite stories within your heart through these works.
The Origin of Creative Activity
About 20 years ago, I was struck by the work of a carving artist I saw on TV for the first time. This led me to search for and start attending a cultural school, which eventually led me to obtain my instructor certification.
Method of Preparation
All works are created using a Thai carving knife.
Whether the piece is large or small, whether the material is soap, candle, vegetable, or fruit,
the same knife is used.
