What is Pressed Flower Art?
In pressed flower art, which cherishes the natural beauty of plants, freshly collected plants are quickly dried using a proprietary technique to preserve their vibrant colors for the long term.
After drying, the pieces are placed in a vacuum-sealed frame, ensuring that the colors and shapes of the flowers remain beautiful for a long time. A key feature of this art is that it uses no dyes or adhesives, allowing the plants’ natural colors and forms to shine through.
Since the freshness of the flowers is crucial, we cultivate and harvest them year-round. If we miss a season, we must wait until the next bloom—a labor-intensive process, but one that is part of the joy.
Each piece is imbued with the emotions and memories of that moment, and I hope you can feel those sentiments when you view them.
