Gallery Rental
Gallery IORI Nihonbashi rents out its space to artists for solo and group exhibitions.
Our rates are kept affordable to support artists who show and sell their work.
Rental Fee
- Rental fee: ¥27,500 (tax incl.) per session
- One session: 5 days, Thursday to Monday
- Student discount: 30% off (please show your student ID)
- Sales commission: please contact us
Rental Period & Hours
- Rental period: Thursday to Monday (5 days)
- Opening hours: 11:00–19:00
- Closed: Tuesday and Wednesday
Terms of Use
- Sales: for exhibitions where works are offered for sale
- Attendance: please attend at least 2 days of the session
- Booking: check availability → apply → payment → contract
- Order: bookings are confirmed in the order the above is completed
Cancellation Fee
- Up to 90 days before the start date: 30% of the rental fee
- Up to 60 days before the start date: 50% of the rental fee
- Up to 30 days before the start date: 80% of the rental fee
- 29 days or less before the start date: 100% of the rental fee
Exhibition Space
- Approx. 1,080 cm of shelving and wall space (windows included)
- Approx. 200 cm of wall space
- No limit on the number of works

- Dimmable lights: 12
- Spotlights: 15
- Art wires: 20 (up to 20 kg each)
- Wire stands: 30
- Wooden stands: 5 (1 extra‑large, 1 large, 1 medium, 2 small)

- A web page for your exhibition (materials due 1 week before opening)
- Promotion on social media
- An artist introduction panel
- Price tags and description cards for each work

Required Materials
- Artist biography
- Artist photo (a photo of yourself is fine)
- Concept statement
- Images of the works (1:1, 2,000–3,000 px)
- A description for each work
- A price for each work
Steps to Exhibit
- 1. Apply: artist profile with images showing your style
- 2. Meeting: at the gallery or on Zoom
- 3. Result: we let you know the outcome of the selection
- 4. Contract: sign the consignment sales agreement
- 5. Work list: photo, title, size and price for each work, due one month before the exhibition month
- 6. Shipping: round-trip shipping is paid by the artist
Payment & After the Exhibition
- After the exhibition we total the sales and tell you how many works sold and for how much
- Please issue a delivery note and an invoice addressed to us
- We pay within 10 days of receiving them
- Settlement uses tax-included prices if you are registered for invoicing, tax-excluded prices if you are not (we file the consumption tax)
- Please collect any unsold works when the exhibition closes (ask us in advance if you would like them shipped)
