HIDEKI
～Profile～
A painter based in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture. For over 30 years, she has been creating paintings of dragon deities, angels, and healing art, placing great importance on intuition.
Her work is characterized by a unique style in which she does not decide on a final form in advance but instead moves her brush as if guided by the sensations that arise during the creative process. Motifs such as dragon deities and angels are also expressed as forms that naturally emerge as she paints.
Her mystical worldview and the stories behind her works have garnered attention, leading to widespread coverage in various media outlets, including *Monthly Mu*.
In addition to her creative work, she currently runs painting classes and the “Essential Art Institute,” where she shares the appeal of artistic expression.

HIDEKI's Philosophy on Production
“I want to create art that is pleasing to the viewer.” Starting from this desire, I discovered a method of creating based on intuition, expanded the scope of my creative activities across various genres, and—by living intuitively—seek out and express new meanings in various phenomena and events.
