Shishino Ankoro's Commitment
Focusing on themes such as nature, social issues, and folklore, the artist’s goal is to reexamine the landscapes, cultures, and values that are gradually being forgotten in people’s daily lives, and to pass them on to the next generation through her artwork. By blending traditional Japanese painting techniques with a contemporary perspective, she creates works that encourage viewers to gain new insights and engage in dialogue.
